Gravitate Accounting

Designing the strategy to scale.

The Context

Gravitate Accounting is a fast-growing, forward-thinking finance firm, focused on helping businesses automate and optimise their finance functions.

As the business scaled, they recognised the need for clearer strategic direction and stronger marketing infrastructure to support their growth.

I stepped in to design the strategy and build the systems required for the next phase

The Challenge

• Rapid growth without a cohesive marketing strategy
HubSpot in place — but underutilised
• A Marketing Executive who needed direction and development
• Gaps between ambition and operational execution

They didn’t need more activity.

They needed alignment, leadership, and infrastructure.

The Outcome

Gravitate transitioned from fragmented activity to structured, strategic growth.

“Laura came into Gravitate as Fractional Marketing Director and helped us create a strategy for Gravitate to help us scale. At the time we had a Marketing Exec who she supported and trained whilst devising and implementing strategy. Laura was key to identifying gaps and helping us move forward and helped Gravitate get to where we are.”

Strategy .

We developed a clear, commercially aligned marketing strategy to support scaling.

This included:

• Positioning refinement
• Messaging clarity
• Growth roadmap development
• Channel prioritisation
• Defined objectives tied to revenue goals

The focus was long-term direction — not short-term noise.

Systems.

This was a key part of the transformation.

HubSpot was already in place, but not being fully leveraged. I:

• Audited and restructured HubSpot usage
• Designed clearer lead journeys
• Improved CRM organisation and visibility
• Implemented better reporting and tracking
• Introduced structured processes to support consistency

The result?
Marketing moved from reactive execution to structured operation.

Scale.

With strategy clarified and HubSpot properly embedded, Gravitate was able to:

• Strengthen lead management
• Improve visibility of marketing performance
• Align campaigns with business objectives
• Move forward with confidence and control

The systems now support the ambition — not slow it down.
